Dear Honorable Congressmen xxx xxx,

My name is xxx xxx. I am an Uyghur from occupied East Turkistan and reside in your district.

Unfortunately, the genocide declaration of the United States, Canadian, and Netherlands parliaments has not stopped china’s crime against humanity yet, and it is unlikely to happen soon. Forced sterilization, forced labor, forced relocation, organ harvesting, gang rape, unexplained disappearances, and deaths, child separation are happening every minute in front of the civilized world.

China is increasingly using economic and virus diplomacy, forcing the countries to detain Uyghurs arbitrarily, put them into jail, deport back to China, or intentionally kill them. Therefore, many Uyghurs aboard live in fear and anxiety. Their children are unable to receive regular education and a healthy environment because of unstable and fearful life.

That is why I strongly demand you to support the Uighur Human Rights Protection Act. Florida congressmen Democrat Ted Deutch and Republican Mario Diaz-Balart will introduce it as soon as next week, which, if passed, would raise Uighurs’ applications to “Priority 2” in the U.S. refugee system, which would be great news for the Uyghurs around the world.
