The following is the English translation of the above ETGE resolution
East Turkistan Government in Exile (ETGE) Resolution
After Mr. Ilyar Semseddin’s very abrupt resignation from his position as a head and member of ETGE’s parliament. To save the order and unity, ETGE has accepted Mr. Ilyar Semseddin’s resignation from his position as the head of the parliament, based on the article No. 22 of ETGE’s constitution, and has sent his resignation from membership to ETGE’s Supreme Court for decision.
However, Mr. Umit Sabir Uyghur requested to vote for Mr. Ilyar Semseddin’s position before the Supreme Court decision. The parliament members have voted to accept Mr Ilyar Semsedin’s resignation, with the result of 14 Yes, 3 No, and 13 absent. Therefore, the ETGE has announced that Mr. Ilyar Semseddin’s resignation was accepted and he is no longer the head and a member of the parliament.
Unfortunately, Mr. Ilyar Semseddin twisted the truth and announced by himself that 9 people voted for him to be the head of the parliament. In addition, without any legitimate process, Mr. Ilyar Shemshidin tried to divide the government by posting an illegal announcement on the government Facebook page saying that he has fired some people of the ETGE government. The action of Mr. Ilyar Semseddin has damaged the reputation of the ETGE severely and sabotaged the regular work of the government.
Mr. Ilyar Semseddin has created a crisis in the ETGE together with Mr. Tughluk Abdurazak, Mr. Umut Sabir Uyghur, and Mr. Bextiyar Iminov. To end the crisis, the ETGE has warned them several times. However, instead of respecting the voices of parliament’s majority and Supreme Court’s verdict, they posted false information on the ETGE Facebook page and tried to split the ETGE government. For the reason above, the ETGE has completely removed Mr. Ilyar Semseddin, Mr. Tughluk Abdurazak, Mr. Umit Sabir Uyghur, and Mr. Bextiyar Iminov from the ETGE.
We would like to announce that ETGE is not their personal belonging.
