Our gratitude to the European Parliament for recognizing China’s atrocities on Uyghurs as crimes against humanity and a serious risk of genocide by Erkin Ablimit, President of the East Turkestan Government in Exile

we hope and trust the European parliament will adopt it as genocide instead of a serious risk of genocide soon. This is not a simple matter of recognizing or not; this is the matter of responsibility for the generation; this is the matter of strengthening, protecting democracy, and punishing and rejecting authoritarianism which is trying to mess up world orders.

Our gratitude to the European Parliament for recognizing China’s atrocities on Uyghurs as crimes against humanity and a serious risk of genocide

We are thrilled to express our gratitude to the European Parliament for recognizing China’s atrocities against Uyghurs as crimes against humanity, a serious risk of genocide, and passing the resolution to ban all products made by forced labor. Like the U.S. government and the parliaments of the UK, Canada, Netherlands, and Lithuania, we hope and trust the European parliament will adopt it as genocide instead of a serious risk of genocide soon. This is not a simple matter of recognizing or not; this is the matter of responsibility for the generation; this is the matter of strengthening, protecting democracy, and punishing and rejecting authoritarianism which is trying to mess up world orders.

It is undeniable that the people of occupied East Turkistan have been systematically encountering China’s genocidal policies since 1949, such as being forced to undergo political indoctrination, forced starvation, forced medication, forced child separation, forced sterilization, rape, and organ harvesting. There has been mass internment of over 3 million Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, and other Turkic people in the concentration camps. Thousands of mosques have been destroyed, damaged, or converted into bars. It is heartbreaking that millions of our infants and young children have been grown and converted into Chinese identities in the heavily secured Chinese boarding school, forced to separate from their parents.

We strongly urge all peace-loving people and leaders worldwide to wake up and say NO to the tyranny, say NO to the trade of tyranny before it is too late and do not turn a blind eye to China’s ongoing silent genocide. We demand that China’s atrocities in occupied East Turkistan must be investigated in an unfettered manner after peacekeeping is deployed; the truth cannot be reached without deploying peacekeeping.
